Are the room rates per person or per room?

The rates displayed are per room, NOT per person. It is important that you input the correct number of guests associated with this booking as rates may change based on occupancy. In some instances, a hotel limits the number of guests per room. To avoid additional charges when you check in, the number of guests must be accurate.




How can I be sure that my booking is "ok" and confirmed?

Right after you have processed your booking you'll be notified through mail if the hotel have confirmed your booking. 80% of our hotels have directly access to the hotels and in those cases it will only take seconds before you get your e-voucher and mail confirmation. The rest (20%) of the hotel can take a few hours before responding and confirm the booking. In those rare cases where the booking cannot be confirmed, we will not charge your credit card. Also don't forget to bring the E-voucher to the hotel at arrival




What if I need to change or cancel my booking?

No worries! We will try to solve all your wishes in the best possible way. Please note that all matters regarding booking cancelations or changements of check-in dates must be sent directly to the organisation crew at credit@agoda.com. Remember to write your booking number in the message. An extra fee of 10 USD is charged your credit card in case of cancelation close to the check-in date. This amount is sometimes lower and depending on the hotels cancelation policy.

Are the room rates inclusive of tax and service charge?

The rate shown on the website is an average nightly rate, per room, for each room type displayed. The rates do not include taxes and service charge as well as extra charges (if applicable) such as an extra bed, gala dinner, mini-bar, or any other non-room charges. Breakfast is not included unless stated. To check the rate with taxes and service charges, please click the "Click to book" button to enter the booking form. The Booking Details on the right will have the breakdown of the rate. Please double check your booking details and grand total before you submit your booking. Please note that by selecting the “Click to book†button you are not submitting a booking.




Can I add an extra bed/baby cot in my room?

Most hotels allow children to stay in the room with parents either with or without an extra bed. The normal hotel policy is not to charge for children if they are under twelve years of age. Some hotels will limit occupancy of a room to two adults and one child. Only a few hotels will have existing bedding for additional children, so an extra bed is usually required. Most hotels will charge for this extra bed. Usually hotels will provide breakfast when there is a charge for an extra bed. However, this is dependent on each property's policies and procedures. A baby cot may be provided free of charge, by some hotels, for children under the age of 2.




Why is there more than one rate for the same room type?

Hotels offer varying rates due to promotions. This variance is determined by the hotel.




Can I ask the hotel to give me an non smoking or smoking room?

On the booking form you can make your Special Request on the Room Details Page, where you complete the guest names and select the nationality. Please click on "Special Requests (Optional)" and then simply type in your request. The request will be sent to the hotel directly. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed by agoda.com. If available, your request will be confirmed upon arrival.

If you wish to submit more requests, please check the Self Service LINK located in the confirmation email you will receive once your booking is complete. You can also action requests by logging on to "My bookings" via the website.




Can I make a reservation directly through the hotel?

Yes. Please bear in mind that the rates listed on hotelsindia24.com website are only available through our service. Rates offered directly from hotels are typically 20% to 60% higher. In addition, you benefit from Rewards Points that can be used for future bookings on any of the Special Rates - Pay online hotels available through our website.




I have lost my E-voucher (booking receipt), where can I get it?

Can I get transfer from the airport to the Hotel?

Many Hotels have this service, sometimes it's written in the hostel description. However, after you have booked a hotel you'll get a mail with all contact info to the hotel, both mail and phone number. You can contact them and ask for this extra service




When will you charge my creditcard?

We will only charge your creditcard if the hotel confirm your booking. As soon as we get the hotels confirmation we will charge your credit card, and if the hotel can't confirm - nothing will be charged to your card. You will be directly notified to your email address of the booking process.




Why should I book accommodation in advance with you?

There is many advantages to book with us in advance, not only before your trip, also during your trip:
1. You'll guarantee your accommodation. Many hostels gets full quickly, depending on how popular they are and what time you want to visit the place.

No, the booking service engine only allows reservations online. This is one way of keeping the prices on a low level. Please notice that we Always answer your questions from our mail support within 12 hours.




Can you please send more material and pictures for a certain hotel?

All information avaliable of the different accommodations and hotels is shown directly on this site. After you have booked your hotel you'll get a mail with all contact info to the hotel, both mail and phone number. You are free to ask the hostel personal for more details.
